Breathing New Life into Old Legends:

In the world of football jerseys, the smallest details often tell the biggest stories – especially when they fade or start to peel over the years. In this post, I want to give you an insight into some of my latest restoration projects, where I brought classic jerseys back to their original glory by renewing chest sponsors and back numbers.

Hamburg Jersey: Emirates & Sharp – Two Eras, Two Restorations
Whether it was the Fly Emirates jersey or the iconic retro Sharp kit – both represented different eras of HSV. On both jerseys, the original chest print was carefully renewed and cleaned, preserving the vintage charm.

Leverkusen Jersey: Alka-Seltzer from the 90s
A true highlight of the restoration was the legendary Leverkusen jersey with the Alka-Seltzer sponsor. The before-and-after comparison shows how much brilliance can be restored through precise reworking.

Stuttgart: Chest Sponsors Mercedes & EnBW Refreshed
VfB Stuttgart jerseys also received a makeover – including the elegant Mercedes-Benz kit with the ring design and the EnBW jersey, which now looks as good as new after the renewed print.

Cologne Jersey: Back Number Renovation for Lotte
For the Cologne jerseys, the focus was primarily on restoring the back numbers. Player names and numbers were professionally reconstructed to bring back the authentic look.
